    Hi there,

I have put a copy of a Jigoshop website on a subdomain to develop a new look, thinking that I would be able to use the plugin licences that exist in the parent site.

    https://newsite.mettexairtools.co.uk/

But, the subdomain site won’t load unless I remove all Jigoshop plugins.

When I tried loading the site, I got the message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /var/sites/n/newsite.mettexairtools.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jigoshop/jigoshop.php on line 145

I was hoping to be able to develop the new look WP template with a working Jigoshop site in a subdomain of the current live jigoshop website.

    Is this possible please.?

    Thanks in advance

    Carl ??

    Hi,
First of all – what PHP version is your server running? The “T_FUNCTION” error usually occurs if the version is below 5.3, or the file’s been modified. The error is probably not even connected to the plugins actually being there ??

    Hi Marcin,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, you are absolutely right, I updated to PHP 5.5 and added the code:

    AddType x-httpd-php55 .php

to the htaccess file in the subdomain.

    All working now. Superb. ??

    Thanks again for your help.
