Jigoshop – Adding same product as a separate item in cart

    I need to force products to add to cart as separate items. For example, I have a product that is a steak at 100g…the customer can select 1,2,3,4,5 etc as multiples of the 100g, however, if they want to add 1 steak at 200g and another at 100g, jigoshop adds them together in the cart. Is there a way to stop this happening please?

    In your case I believe that the best solution would be to use the “multipliers” as an attribute of a variable product ??

    I might’ve confused you – what I meant is that you can use the Steak as a variable product, with each multiple of a 100g as a separate attribute – you can set different prices to each of them ??
