Jigoshop – Add to cart error 500 blank screen

Dear fellow forum users, any help would be greatly appreciated.
We recently upgraded our Jigoshop plug in to version 1.17.11

The jigoshop plugin is working well apart from when adding products to the cart from a single product page (i believe this is the ‘single-product.php’ jigoshop template).

Clicking the add to cart button returns a blank screen with 500 error.? If you press the back button after attempting to add a product you see a ‘Item failed to add to cart’ message front end.

Please Note The plugin version states jigoshop 1.17.11 but the system report below says 1.17.9
