Jetpack’s Image CDN Stops My Images Loading

    Hi

    For the last couple of days, my site’s images haven’t been loading. I figured out that it was the “Serve images from our global CDN” setting causing it – when I deactivate that, my images come back. Tried the site in troubleshooting mode with only the Jetpack plugin active and the 2012 theme, and the issue remained. The photos won’t load in the site or in my Media Library.

    When the global CDN setting is deactivated, I don’t seem to get the normal image gallery functionality. Since I post a lot of side by side images I need the “tiled columns” gallery setting active!

    Why is the global CDN currently causing issues with my images, and how can I fix it?

    Hi Emily, it’s trickier to troubleshoot with the CDN off, but I have a few questions that may help us figure this out.

    – When did this issue start? Was it related to an update, or some other change in the site?

    – Did images that previously worked stop working?

    – Does reinstalling Jetpack help? (We did see at least one issue out there where it did.)

    If you wouldn’t mind trying to open one of the images in a new tab, and telling me what error you get, that would help as well.
