Jetpack won't connect
-
I’ve looked around quite a bit for reasons why Jetpack will no longer recognize my site. I’ve recently installed a Comodo cert so browsers won’t see security errors. I was trying to figure out why Jetpack wasn’t able to monitor my site, and in the process I disconnected Jetpack from my site and then tried to connect it again. I read that WP-Spamshield interferes some with Jetpack, so I disabled it temporarily. When I tried to connect Jetpack again, I got the following error:
Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site https://www.overhauleden.com [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate]
I made sure that xmlrpc.php is present and has the same permissions as other files in .htdocs.
Note: I tried updating from v3.8.1 to v3.8.2. No change.
Where do I go from here?
Thanks!
