JetPack v4.4.2 and Publicize options inaccessible?
-
I’m having serious issues with the publicize features on JetPack v4.4.2 and WordPress 4.7. It’s a new install (freshly transferred from WordPress.com to a self-hosted site). Today, when I went to post the first new blog post with the new system, I discovered that I’m unable to “customize” the publicize message. I’ve turned on all the features, I’ve connected it to my Twitter, Facebook and the like, but when I’m in the post editor window, I’m unable to access any of the publicize customization options. All checkboxes are grayed out, as is the message window.
I’ve tried using multiple browser programmes, thinking that it might have been a fault with my main browser, but I encounter the same issues in both Chrome and Edge.
I’m not even sure if I’ve configured my JetPack install correctly because of the way it’s behaving. I don’t want to “uninstall” JetPack, as I’m afraid of what that might do with all my followers. I could reset the publicize, but I don’t think that will work (though I could be wrong).
I really need to get this shorted as I have multiple sites that are all now self-hosted. I can’t have the publicize feature failing on me. I’m at a real loss here. HELP!
