    I’ve got a client who uses WordFence (Premium) and is also trying to use the Jetpack Monitoring system and seems to occasionally get spirts of alerts that the site is “down” but I can’t seem to find anything in the logs hosting-wise that supports that.

    I’m wondering if it’s possible if the WAF is blocking the uptime check and if anybody has run into this before?

    We are only able to assist with the free plugin here on the forums provided to us by www.remarpro.com. Premium plugin customers can use the account related to their license on wordfence.com in case any further information is required to diagnose a specific issue – so supplementary questions or diagnostic on our part may require that step.

    I can mention, as this also relates to the free plugin, that you could try enabling Learning Mode?or check for blocks related to Jetpack on the Tools?> Live Traffic?page. Both allowlisting methods are detailed in our instructions here: https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/

    Finally, disabling XML-RPC authentication or enforcing 2FA for XML-RPC can affect Jetpack specifically so ensure those settings aren’t enabled in Wordfence > Login Security > Settings.

    I had posted here because I wanted to see if any other users might have had similar issues, but I can totally do a support ticket if the issue persists.

    For now I’ve whitelisted the IPs for JetPack from 2FA for XML-RPC and also turned “Learning Mode” back on for 24 hours.

    Hope that’ll do the trick! ??
