There is a question on the old site, Jetpack is used, there are more than 100,000 images on this site. Each image resides on a different server (i0, i1, i2). The site also uses an old version of WordPress. When transferring a new site to this domain (updating WordPress, removing some plugins, new theme), images and posts remain. Will the URL of the images be preserved (or will all these objects be located on the same servers i0,i1,i2)?
old site image url https://i0.wp.com/ === new site image url https://i0.wp.com/?

    Hi @developermain91

Those image URLs are added to your site when Jetpack’s Site Accelerator feature is enabled. The image links should continue to work provided the original images are still on your server. They will be dynamically replaced with Site Accelerator links (these will be new links if you have a new domain) or will revert back to URLs from your domain if you turn off Site Accelerator.

    Hi @lastsplash.
That is, if I transfer the new site to the old domain (images remain all the same) install Jetpack activite Jetpack’s Site Accelerator feature Url images will remain the same as on the old site? did I understand correctly?

    Hi @developermain91,

If you link a new site to the domain used for your old site and turn on Jetpack’s Site Accelerator on the new site (now bearing the same domain as your old site), the new site’s images will get cached on our image CDN. Nothing happens to the images that were previously on the old site and cached with Jetpack’s Site Accelerator.
