    Hello,

For many months now, i have had an issue where clicking on a jetpack gallery displays a blue icon instead of the image. I have literally done everything I can such as deactivate and remove plugins, themes etc. the issue persists even with a standard default theme and no plugins other than jetpack. So, now I’ve pretty much given up as even with the site in a default mode it still has the error. We have other wordpress sites hosted on the server with no issues. We have followed the recommendations for accelerating the images and embedding external shortcodes etc.

All themes (Astra pro) and plugins are up to date. I have over 13 years fixing my broken Word press sites lol.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there, @blacksheepwarrior,

Thanks for reporting this. I checked the page you link, and I can see that the images do appear within the content page, but looks broken and opening the gallery.

Upon inspecting the gallery, I noticed that the images returned a "Error 0004. Unable to load the image.; it happens the same to the images within the page, if I open them on a different page and strip them from the sizing bit (?fit=1200%2C900&ssl=1).

This typically happens when image links are hard-coded into the site, and when the blog is moved, the links stay the same. Can you try updating those links manually? You can do this by opening the posts for editing and then inserting the image again.

Let us know if that solves the problem!

    Hello @blacksheepwarrior,

Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

Sorry, I was delayed. Unfortunately, this issue will not be resolved as easily as suggested. I have re-uploaded new images and no change. I haven’t moved the blog and seeing the issue happens even when all plugins are deactivated and themes interchanged I find it hard to believe it isn’t an error in the image path maybe? Could something on my server be blocking it? BTW, it works just fine on MTGtactical.com and warbricks.com and almost all the plugins, settings etc are the same, they are also running on the same server, theme, caching plugins etc. Literally almost identical set ups minus woo commerce being on the other two.

    thanks,

    Will

Howdy Will, thank you for reaching back out with that update. At this point, I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening.

Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?
