Jetpack Subscriptions not showing in widgets

I have Jetpack enabled and activated but I can’t see the Jetpack Subscriptions widget under ‘widgets’.
The “Enable additional widgets” is checked in Jetpack and I’ve done obvious things like refreshing but the subscription widget I use on other sites is strangely elusive… any hints?

The widget is only enabled if you enable subscriptions for Jetpack on the Discussion tab of Jetpack’s settings
