Jetpack subscription widget already has email address

    The widget works okay except that it presents an email address already in the little box. I can delete it and enter a new address when when I reload the page, that email address is back in there again.

    How can I get rid of it? BTW, it is the email address that my site uses to send me notifications… I just don’t want it displayed publicly.

    The subscription form will be pre-filled with your own email address as long as you’re logged in to your WordPress account.

    Rest assured though; your readers will see an empty form, as they’re not logged in. You can check it by logging out of your account, or opening your site in a different browser, where you’re not logged in.
