Jetpack Subscription Emails w/ shortcode

I’m using Jetpack to automatically send out new Blog posts via email to subscribers. Those blog posts contain a shortcode: [tribe_events_list venue=”yes”] which renders perfectly on the website, but does not get rendered at all in the emails that Jetpack sends out to the subscribers.

I know this is integration between two completely different plugins, but I was wondering if there is any possibility that there is something I can do to get that working? It’s not a huge issue if I can’t, but I’m dealing with a website where the average age of the subscriber is about 65 and they want everything visible in the email so they don’t have to use a computer.
