Jetpack subscription doesn't redirect to any confirmation message

  • Hi, I just set up Jetpack’s email subscription option on https://freekeene.com – it will popup and also you can see the option in the right column, a few lines down.

    Entering an email in the widget or the popup DOES subscribe the person – the email is sent for confirmation, so that’s good.

    However, the URL loaded afterwards on the widget appears to be https://freekeene.com/#blog_subscription-3
    and on the popup it loads: https://freekeene.com/#XXX (where XXX is a three-digit number that is not always the same)

    That doesn’t do anything except load the front page of the site, slightly scrolled down.

    I tried it on another of my sites, thinking it might have been some issue with the theme, but it did the same thing there.

    Ok, I deactivated plugin “Permalink Redirect” and that appears to have remedied this.
