    Hi,

So I have two places with the Jetpack Blog Subscriptions widget. A few people have signed up but they aren’t displayed with the WordPress and email followers I imported from my WordPress.com blog. Instead they are under the ‘Users’ tab on my dashboard as Subscribers. I also don’t think the old subscribers got the most recent post in their emails. Help?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Jetpack Subscribers are indeed a bit different from your site’s Registered Users. You can read more about the differences here:

I hope this clarifies things a bit.

I know there are differences. My problem is that the Jetpack subscription plugin is making them Users, not getting update emails, and not Jetpack subscribers. I don’t know how to fix that.

Could you let me know your site URL, and give me links to the 2 pages where you’ve added the Blog Subscriptions Widget? I’d like to take a closer look at those widgets, as the default Blog Subscriptions Widget isn’t able to create Users on your site.

Could you also make sure user registrations are closed on your site, to make sure the new Users on your site weren’t created via the regular User signup process?

    Thanks!
