Jetpack Stats error

    I installed JetPack, and get this error on the stats page –
    You are not a member of this site.
    If you have just installed the WordPress.com Stats plugin, this error probably appeared because the API key entered in the plugin belongs to a different WordPress.com user account.
    The owner of the API key must visit this site’s stats page to grant access.

    Yes, I removed the WP stats plugin after I installed JP. I ‘connected to WP” as JP requires.

    The stats don’t function on https://www.joetaxpayer.com but works fine on https://www.anotherfinemeal.com

    I tried disabling all other Plugins to see if there was a conflict, that had no impact. I checked SQL setup, both run PHP 5.0
    I think this covers all details.

    Update – It appears fixed now. I didn’t tinker any more, just happened to see the stats on the top bar looked good and went to admin dashboard to find it fixed.
    If a WP guru did something, thankyou. Something happened somewhere. Looks great.
