Jetpack stats double that of Google Analytics?

    Hello,
    Just had a quick question. I’ve recently updated to WordPress 4.2.2 and found out that I had stupidly pasted my Google Analytics code twice into my site (!). Once I fixed that, Jetpack stats are about double that of Analytics. Before they were quite comparable, with Jetpack being just a teensy bit lower. I’d love to believe Jetpack, but I can’t just disregard this huge difference. Any thoughts?

    Disclaimer: I’m a food blogger, not a coding expert ??
