    Hi there,

We can help you to fix this. Could you please provide us the URL of the staging site? It doesn’t matter if the site doesn’t exist now. We only need the URL of the staging site to track it in our system to transfer stats and subscribers.

Apart from this, while your main site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file: https://cecereads.com/xmlrpc.php

This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. It must return the following message: XML-RPC?server accepts POST requests only.

You can see a working example here: https://jetpack.com/xmlrpc.php

Since your site returns an “Origin Error”?error?for this page, I would recommend that you check with your hosting provider if they block access to this file?

Once we are able to access your site’s?xmlrpc.php file, you should be able to connect Jetpack to?https://wordpress.com.

Let me know how this goes too!

    Hi @bobbiedoo

So, just to confirm, you’d like to move the stats and subscribers from my-easy-resume.com to cecereads.com?

Also, as Animesh noted, we’re having issues with the Jetpack connection to https://cecereads.com/ can you get those fixed up so we can move the stats and subscribers for you?

Yes I want to move the stats and subscribers from my-easy-resume.com to cecereads.com

    Hi @bobbiedoo

We’d be happy to go forward with that, but I can see that we’re still having issues communicating with your cecereads.com site.

I’d highly recommend going through the steps that my colleague Animesh suggested, to reach out to your host regarding your XML-RPC endpoint that Jetpack is currently unable to access as it’s returning a 520 server response; we’ll be right here, ready to move your stats when this is sorted ??

    XML-RPC issue has been resolved

    Hi there,

I have transferred your stats and subscribers from my-easy-resume.com to cecereads.com. However, the XML-RPC issue is still not resolved as when you will visit https://cecereads.com/xmlrpc.php you will see no response there. It must return the following message: XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only. You can see a working example here: https://jetpack.com/xmlrpc.php. Please contact your host to resolve this, and if you have any security plugin installed that may block XML-RPC for your site then please check there too.

If your host only offers XML-RPC access by whitelisting IP addresses, then they will need to whitelist the IP addresses listed here:

Please note that these IP addresses could change (or more could be added) at any time. For that reason, we recommend your host uses the machine-readable versions of these IP ranges in JSON or plain text format to automate configuration changes on their systems.

Thanks for the help. Is it possible to delete all data on my-easy-resume.com and allow the site to record correct stats for the site?

    Hi @bobbiedoo

I can help you reset your stats. Please note this will completely reset all stats for my-easy-resume.com, as it’s not possible to reset them only for a specific time period. This is also a back and forth process, which involves the following:

    – Disconnect Jetpack on your end, then get back in touch so I can begin the next step in the process.
    – I’ll start the process to remove your prior stats data.
    – I’ll let you know when that is done and you can reconnect Jetpack. Once the process has completed, your stats will be completely reset.

If you can confirm you want the stats reset, please disconnect Jetpack and let me know so I can initiate the reset process for you.

Site disconneted. Kindly reset everything. Thanks

    Hi @bobbiedoo

I’ve gone ahead and reset the stats for that site, you can now go ahead and reconnect Jetpack using these steps:

    1. In your WP Admin, go to Jetpack → Dashboard and click the Set up Jetpack button.

    2. Check that you’re connecting to the correct WordPress.com account and click Approve.

Let us know if there’s anything else!

    Best,
