I had our legal team have a look as well. It should, most likely, be categorized as statistics and therefore needs consent in most instances. Because this is dealt with in different configurations, by Jetpack on www.remarpro.com and some stats are standardized on WP.com, this should be resolved with a proposed consent API integrated with a future WordPress update.

For now, we can block it completely prior to consent by adding the domains pixel.wp.com and stats.wp.com to the script center, but a more effective option is on its way. You can always switch the module off on www.remarpro.com, I’m not sure about WordPress.com.

I’ve updated the plugin the latest version available on GitHub (4.9.4), also I’ve uploaded the latest JetPack integration then I rerun the wizard and purged all the cache,
it seems not resolving the problem,

We have an integration ready, you can include it as a mu-plugin:

This integration will get merged into core with one of the coming updates.

I can confirm that the integration is working, however, when I tested it it’s marked as marketing cookie rather than an statics cookie,
(if a visitor agreed the statics cookies and refused the marketing cookies it is not working also if the visitor accepted the marketing cookies and refused the statics cookies the cookies works and get statics)

You can double check this by visiting the website mentioned above

Possibly I committed some changes after posting here.

With the correct version of this file, you should get ‘cmplz-stats’ as class in the script element which loads the statistics script.
