    Hello!

I am having a problem with some images continuously getting broken on my website. It does not happen with all the images but a few. I observed that the reason of the problem is the ‘ssl’ word in the link. e.g.:

    https://i0.wp.com/theflyingduo.in/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/waterfall-scaled-jpg.webp?resize=1152%2C1536&ssl=1

This image is broken on the post, and appears broken when I open it in new tab but opens fine when I open it in jetpack carousel. The image also opens up when I remove the word ‘ssl’ from the link. Same is the issue with many images. If I disable image accelerator, these images pop up alright but some other images break.

I have been deleting, renaming and reuploading the images for months now. Nothing helps. My website is very image oriented and I cannot keep doing this forever. It also affects the credibility of my site as the images keep breaking. I wouldn’t want to visit a site which has broken images. Please check what is causing this recurring issue and provide me a resolution.

    Hi @theflyingduo,

I’ve reviewed your website, and it appears that it’s currently not connected to Jetpack. To address the issue you’re facing with broken images, I recommend the following steps:

    1. Reconnect Jetpack: Please try reconnecting your website to Jetpack as explained in this guide.
    2. Enable Image CDN: Once your site is connected, enable the Image CDN feature in Jetpack by enabling the Site Accelerator feature in Jetpack. Please find out more here.
    3. Test the Issue: After reconnecting and enabling the Image CDN, check the sit to see if the issue with broken images still persists. Make sure to view different pages and posts to ensure that images load correctly.

Please give these steps a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hello @theflyingduo

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back. I was not able to resolve the issue due to which I deactivated jetpack. I plan to re upload the other broken images without using jetpack. If the images hold I would consider not activating jetpack again.

Also I was checking the image that you shared in the first reply and currently it is loading on my end.

If you decide not to reactivate it, we respect your choice and are still available to help with any questions or concerns you may have in the future.
