Jetpack socila sharing connection error

I recently have noticed an issue with the social sharing option for jetpack. I noticed that the social sharing option was being deactivated by the server without warming. I deactiavted the plugin and reactivated it. Now I’m not able to reconnect Facebook or tumblr. It is stuck in a connection loop and shows the following error:
Please upgrade Jetpack to version 3.3 or newer in order to access this endpoint.
I have the latest version of jetpack.
