    Hi For ages now we have been able to post directly from WP/Jetpack Socials Plugin to one of our dedicated FB pages. Suddenly last night we lost the connection. Not a major issue we thought, just reset and reconnect.
    However the plugin won’t allow us to connect back to the correct dedicated page, we can connect to other pages but not the one we need too. We have tried removing plugins and apps from within WP & FB but nothing is allowing us to reconnect to the correct FB page.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello, there.

    Just to be sure, you will need to use a Facebook profile account that has administrative rights to the target page. A page-only account, a page managed by Facebook Business Manager, or pages using Facebook’s new page experience cannot be used with Jetpack Social, so if any of those things have changed recently on the page, that would be a good clue.

    If that doesn’t help, would you also be able to link us to the Facebook page that you’re unable to connect to so we can look for reasons this may be happening? Thanks!

    Thanks for sending that!

    I’ve looked at the page, and I can’t see any clues on why this is not working; the page transparency section doesn’t mention anything helpful.

    Since this is the only page that you don’t see in the Publicize options, I’d suggest making these checks:

    • Has there been any chnbeforehe page itself, prior to the disconnection of the account from Publicize?
    • Are you connectinwithacebook account that has full administrator rights and manages the page?
    • Is the page using Facebook’s New Page Experience or the Business Manager? You can contact Facebook regarding that.

    I’d appreciate your confirmation about those.

    Thanks @muffinpeace for your advice. All sounds pretty long-winded and time-consuming. Normally not an issue but I am away with the Grandchildren from tonight so will investigate your suggestions when I get back and let you know how I go on. Thanks again for your time. ??

    Sorry for the delayed response but I’m sure you know what family holidays can be like. Just need another one to recover. ??

    I have managed to roll back the FB Page Setting regarding what I believe to be the “New Page Experience” and instantly everything was reconnecting and publishing posts perfectly.

    I note however that when rolling back the setting FB advised this option would not be available for very long and implied once the update is rolled out in its final version any new posts etc could be removed. ?? Not sounding too good. ??
