    Hey everyone!
I have two problems with the jetpack slideshow.
The main problem is, that it doesn’t show the first picture, when you went through all pictures and want to jump from the last to the first one. It is the same, when i jump into the other direction from the first to the last one.

The other problem only occurs in the Dashboard when i want to change a page. One slideshow extends over other elements. All other slideshows don’t do that. Also slideshows in other pages are fine. It is only the first in “Habitaciones” which looks perfectly fine on the normal website. See the screenshots about this problem.

Does anyone has an idea how i can fix these problems or do Jetpack need to do some changes?

    Thanks a lot!

Interesting! Does it work properly on the site itself?

I’m not noticing this problem on my own site, so maybe it’s just misbehaving in the editor.

No. I have the problem on the site itself. In Firefox and Chrome. Can you check my site from the first post and see, if you get the same problem?

    Thanks a lot!

I’m able to see the first issue on your site, and can also replicate it on my own site. If I disable the Lazy Images option in Jetpack settings under the Performance tab it seems to fix it. Can you check if the same works on your end?

Regarding the editor issue, I’m not sure what’s going on there. Am I seeing correctly that you have a Group block there, with a columns block, and the slideshow block and a list block in the two columns? I tried setting up a slideshow using that combination of blocks on my site, but the slideshow block isn’t overlapping other blocks like that.

Does it help if you delete that slideshow block, and then add in a new one?

I deactivated the Lazy Images option without success. Then i remembered that there is also a lazy image option in my W3 Total Cache plugin. After deactivating both, it works fine. So lazy images are the problem, but to deactivate the option is definitely not the solution for me. Is this a problem of the slideshow code and need to be fixed there?

Regarding the editor issue it doesn’t help to delete it and create a new one. I tried it in several ways. It is always the first one of this page, which has the problem. This problem doesn’t occur in other pages with the same structure. The structure is a Column Block with 2 columns. Jetpack slideshow on the left. Paragraph on the right.

Interesting, does it work the opposite way, with our lazy images on and W3TC’s off?

Didn′t check it like this. But i have now. Both problems still occur even if i deactivate all plugins except of the Jetpack plugin with lazy images activated. I keep the configuration like this for some time, just in case you want to check it out on your own on my site.

    Thanks for confirming.

In a strange twist, this is no longer happening on my test site, and the only thing that has changed is that I had done a manual full sync on that site since yesterday.

So I went ahead and manually triggered a sync for your site as well, and now I’m not seeing this issue there either.

Can you please check if the issue still appears for you?

Still the same problem for me.

Hmm, now I see it happening on some of your slideshows, but not all as before. On my own site I’m not able to replicate it any more.

Can you check if completely disconnecting and reconnecting Jetpack makes any difference?

If not, then using the Lazy Image feature in your other plugin might be the simplest solution here.

I deactivated and reactivated the Jetpack plugin. After that i had to set it up again. But even after that i still have the problem with all slideshows.

And the lazy image feature from the other plugin just creates the same problem. The only “solution” at the moment would be to not use lazy images. But that really slows my site down and crashes the google score. ??

Lazy image things historically have trouble with slideshows. They would with some, not with others, on our end we’re still trying to track down why.

In this case, I’d recommend leaving it off, or contacting support for your theme since this doesn’t appear to be specific to our lazy load.

I don’t think, that the theme support will do something when i tell them, that there is a problem only with the jetpack slideshow and turning it off is not working for the site speed. I will try the theme support in the next days.

    Thank you everyone!
