Jetpack Site Stats

So I have read a number of posts where folks have the same issue, but they were several years ago and i have already tried the “fixes”. My jetpack site stats are TOTALLY counting all of my visits. When I do an upgrade or change my site template, etc I am in and out a lot!

Yes, I have gone to jetpack, site stats, configure. “Count the page views of registered users” section NONE of the boxes are checked (because I do not require visitors to register).

There does not seem to be another area where I can make sure my views are not counted. I have done the configure thing everywhere I can find it. This is useless if it is going to count me as I am just starting out……help!
