Since 4-5 days, Jetpack is not counting the stats properly. 2nd most trafficked post on my blog is showing no hits along with many other blog posts.

Google Analytics is showing traffic correctly. The post is getting the traffic like before.

The problem is still there even after disconnecting and deactivating and deleting the plugin as mentioned in this link: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/

Please help me resolve the problem.

    Hi there,

Can you please let me know your site’s address and the post you’re referring to so I can have a look?

Also, note that WordPress.com Stats and Google Analytics use different methods to identify and track activity on your site. You can expect Google Analytics and WordPress.com stats to always show slightly different totals for your visits, views, etc.

    Site address: https://www.imtarunsingh.net

    Blog Post: https://www.imtarunsingh.net/2017/04/top-best-window-ac-india.html

Google Analytics is showing the pageviews as 584 while Jetpack views are stuck at 1.

A slight difference is acceptable but this is not acceptable.

Thanks for those details. The site imtarunsingh.net is not connected to Jetpack at this time. I’d guess this is the issue with the stats discrepancy. Can you try disconnecting and reconnecting the Jetpack plugin. Let me know once you’ve done that and I’ll run the site back through the debug tool.

I followed this guide: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/. After clicking on Disconnect, I am not getting the option to set up Jetpack.

    Check the image: https://ibb.co/QNbYRLR

Last time, I also wasn’t able to connect. I had to connect on jetpack.com.

Try reinstalling it rather than reconnecting it and let us know how that goes.

I am unable to set up the Jetpack even after reinstalling. There is nothing shown.

Instead of getting this: https://jetpackme.files.wordpress.com/2018/06/set-up-jetpack.png?w=738&h=318, I am getting nothing: https://ibb.co/QNbYRLR

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

If it is, please do these two things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

    2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

I am using Google Chrome Version 75.0.3770.80 (Official Build) (64-bit).

I tried everything but still it wouldn’t let me set up Jetpack.

I was unable to login on other browsers and was getting the ‘ERROR: cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.’ even when cookies were enabled. Maybe because previously I was using Jetpack Secure Sign On and now I was signing through default login form?

So I connected directly the blog to Jetpack from https://wordpress.com/jetpack/connect. I don’t want to get locked out from my website.

Let me tell if the site is connected? Also solve the stats problem.

Any change if you switch off Jetpack’s Secure Sign On?
