I believe this is a GoDaddy issue who is my current server provider for where my WordPress blog is being hosted on. But me being the curious technical guy and wanting to know more about what they won’t tell me is this.

My blog, https://www.thetwelfthstep.com has been operating just fine until tonight’s posting. Normally at 12:01 AM each night my scheduled blog goes live on the site and then goes external outside the server to Facebook, Twitter, Googleplus, and of course my blog subscribers. Tonight, none of those received the blog posting. The only thing that posted was on my own site which is on my server itself. But the other four connections which are external things going outside GoDaddy did not work. They said they were experiencing issues when I called them and it was a known problem but that’s all they would say. I tried several times just adding live blog postings that were test oriented and not scheduled postings and they too would post on my page but the external relays didn’t happen. I.E. Facebook, Twitter, and Googleplus did not get their updates, and none of my subscribers got their new e-mail for the day from my latest blog posting. I know this is not my issue because I did not change any software, have any new updates, add any new widgets or plugins or change any settings at all in a long while and everything has been operating just fine.

So this troubleshoot is for those out there who are technical with server issues, because I’m curious, what would cause something like this to happen on a server? Is there a part of a server that sends out this out for Jetpack and blog subscriptions that could go down but yet my posting makes it fine on my own site?
