I recently made my blog bilingual, and realized Jetpack Related posts are shown in only the English version, even though the main language is set to Turkish. I’d like them to show in both versions. Any ideas on how to do that?

    Hello @pinaralsac ,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Can you please change your WordPress.com account language to Turkish and let us know if you see the same issues?

You can change your WordPress.com account language from here: https://wordpress.com/me/account.

I changed my account language but the issue remains the same. Only the English version has related posts.

    Hi @pinaralsac,

I took a look and noticed that on the Turkish version, the Related Posts on your site, section is currently hidden because of a CSS rule (display: none;): https://d.pr/i/J3WuyD

This might be caused by a conflict with your theme or a plugin. I suggest reviewing these settings, particularly in relation to Polylang, as this could be where the issue lies.

I also replicated your setup using the same WordPress theme, and everything is working as expected on my end. The Related Posts show up in both language versions on my test site, so it might be helpful to check with Polylang support as well to see if there’s a specific compatibility issue.

    I hope this helps.

Okay, can you please clarify one thing for me… you used the theme I’m using, made a bilingual test site, and Related posts are working for both languages – and you didn’t use Polylang. Is that right? If that’s the case, I don’t need the plugin at all. I already have TranslatePress installed for custom translations, and I do the rest manually anyway. If it’s going to mess up with the settings, I really wouldn’t want to keep it.

    Thoughts?

    Hi @pinaralsac

It’s definitely worth experimenting with. If you deactivate the Polylang plugin, do the related posts show in the correct language?

So deactivating Polylang messed up the site, made the pages mixed in Turkish and English. However, when I activated it again, related posts started to show up on both languages. Thank you everyone who replied here. I have no idea what was wrong, but I’m marking the problem solved.
