Hi everyone. I connected my student association Facebook account using Publicize (Jetpack plugin) with our WordPress website and at first, it worked: I could post on my blog and push the new post on our Facebook page (not profile, page).

Last night, the feature wasn’t working, so I removed the connection. Now, I can no longer connect my Page to Jetpack.

I have removed WordPress’ permissions from Facebook and retried the connection, but all I see is my association’s Facebook Profile, not its Page.

I am really at a loss. Can anyone help?

The blog I need help with is ecaconcordia.ca.

I’m experiencing the same problem on my self hosted blog at https://lemoninginger.com. However, I checked the Facebook publicize option on my wordpress.com site at https://confusioncook.com and there I can choose to publicize on my FB page and not just my profile.

Hi, I’ve just installed Jetpack on our client’s website with the intention of linking the Blog page with the website’s Facebook page.
I am one of the administrators for the website’s Facebook page.

I have gone through the steps and when it comes to the part where it asks whether I wish to connect to my Publicize to my Facebook Wall, it does not show the Facebook pages that I administer.

Any ideas?

@jeremy – Is installed the beta version or using the changeset the only way to fix the issue, or will an updated plugin be released? I don’t know how to install the beta version or the changeset, so I’m kind of stumped on how to fix the issue.

@maryesell We’re still doing some tests, but we will release a new version of Jetpack including that fix as soon as we’re satisfied with the Beta tests. I don’t have an exact ETA at the moment, but this could happen on Monday.

I spotted the problem when I noticed blog posts werent appearing on my FB Page, and like others couldnt re-connect to my page, only my profile.

I also dont seem to be getting posts showing on Twitter either. Is this related or a separate issue? I’ve tried the usual disconnect/re-connect.

That would be a different problem. Could you please start your own thread and give me more details, like your site URL or a link to one of the posts that wasn’t publicized to Twitter?
