    Hi,

Somewhere around March of this year Publicize stopped posting to Facebook. The Jetpack support team sent the following response:

Publicize is failing for Facebook because there is more than one Open Graph tag for the post URL. I checked the source code for your most recent post in my browser and was able to confirm this – there are two meta tags in the HTML for og:url.

The Open Graph tags on your site are also not those added by Jetpack, so they’re being added by another plugin, most likely Yoast SEO – if Jetpack detects another plugin on the site is adding OG tags, Jetpack’s are automatically deactivated. You can see here for more information on this:

    https://jetpack.com/support/publicize/troubleshooting-publicize/#no-jp-og-tags

It’s possible that either things are not correctly configured in Yoast, causing duplicate tags to be added, or another plugin, or more likely your theme, are adding it’s own tags in spite of Yoast’s being there already.

I’d suggest you first try contacting support at Yoast so they can help you check everything is configured correctly there, and if that doesn’t help, please contact support for your theme to check whether the theme adds its own OG tag, and if so, how to disable them so there won’t be duplication in this regard.

Any help would be most appreciated.

    Thanks
