Jetpack Publicise not working

    Hello,

    We have been using the Jetpack plug-in on our website and we think it is fantastic at adding functionality to the back end of the site.

    The site we are currently working on is a news website and we were keen to use the Publicise feature to allow us to promote the website on social media.

    The problem is when we use Publicise it does not work and the post does not display on the accounts.

    I have managed to get it to work when I log in as an administrator apart from uploading to my Facebook Wall (pages are fine so could this possibly be because Facebook uses the Timeline facility rather than the Wall now?) and indeed a test post I did showed up on Twitter too.

    However when I try to use the publicise feature when I log-in as another user (with the “author” role) it does not work at all, regardless of the social media network being used.

    Could you please guide me through how to fix this or of any other potential plug-ins we could use to post to social media?

    I have now managed to get it to work on Twitter when I am logged in as an author but on Facebook Walls and on LinkedIn it is not working at all when logged in as a user.

    Can someone advise me on what to do to fix this issue so that it posts to all of the social media accounts whichever user account you are logged in as?

    I’ve now decided used an alternative plug-in – Social Networks Auto-Poster which appears to work ok.
