    We have been using Jetpack Post by Email since the site was launched and had no problems. Text was correct and attached photos were inserted as image galleries. (I’ve been using this for ages on other sites I manage, also without any problems.)

    This week the past two attempts have resulted in all the attached images being rejected. “Invalid response from the Jetpack site” it says.

    Nothing has changed as far as I know. The images were, as before, all under the 2MB size limit and the staff posting have used the same method as before and sent from the same e-mail address. I have made no changes to the site since last week when it was working. It’s just started rejecting all the images.

    I’ve checked with my host and there is nothing they can see causing a problem.

    It’s a www.remarpro.com site and I’ve since added the rejected photos manually.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    same problem here. After the last update, post by email only posts text, ignoring images and galleries.

    Any ideas?

    Ah, after the update… I missed that timing. I wonder if they’re working on it? I’ve submitted a support request directly to Jetpack and am awaiting reply.

    @moucho Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    I have the same problem and tried the recommendations in the debugger with no joy. https://www.janetwatt.org

    I sent in a support request email late Friday again yesterday.

    How long does it normally take to get a response? & Has this been resolved for either of the previous posters (foolhandy and moucho)?

    @candacelewis I’m sorry for the delay. We’re working on a backlog of support requests at this time, and we generally answer in the order received. If you sent us an email on Friday you should receive a reply today.

    I’ve just updated Yoast WordPress SEO and now Post by email is working again.
    I did try the Debug link, but it said something about not being able to connect to wordpress. Now it says everything is fine. It may be related to WordPress SEO 2.0 or just a coincidence, but I thought I should share in case it helps someone.

    We are getting rejection notices when posting .png files, but have been able to post jpeg. We are not using wordpress SEO.

    On my other site, which uses Yoast WordPress SEO I have no problems.

    I was asked by JetPack to disconnect from WordPress.com and reconnect. Still the same problem. I need this sorted…

    There’s no real help from JetPack. I replied to the one offer of help over a week ago saying that I’d followed the advice given and it still didn’t work.

    There are loads of people with this issue across the web.

    Can we have some help please?
