I can see that the images are loading up in the raw feed code. I have compared them with the post raw feed code and it looks like they have similar classes and attributes. From everything I am seeing on these forums, it looks like the portfolio images should be showing up in MailChimp, like the post ones are loading in through the *|FEEDITEM:IMAGE|* tags, but they are not. The other data (URL, title, author) is all loading in as it should, but the image for some reason isn’t being recognized by MailChimp.

I have tried setting my FEEDBLOCK URL to https://samsoper.art/portfolio/feed/?nocache123 to cachebust them to pull into MailChimp, but that isn’t working.

Any recommendations? Something I am missing?

    Hi @samjeansoper

Our plugin works with any post type that supports featured images, so if the portfolio has a featured image set, it should work for that feed as well. If not, then featured images would need to be added to that custom post type definition, or you could use the Premium version and the Use Body Image option, to see if the portfolio body image is pulled in instead.

Also, the free version of our plugin uses RSSITEMS with RSSITEM:CONTENT or RSSITEM:CONTENT_FULL merge tags or uses FEEDBLOCK with FEEDITEM:CONTENT or FEEDITEM:CONTENT_FULL merge tags and the images are inside that, at the front, with the body copy after the image.

The Premium version of our plugin enabled Media:Encoded and Enclosure tags, and then the RSSITEM:IMAGE or FEEDITEM:IMAGE merge tags work to customize the placement of your image.

We offer a free 14 day trial of the Premium version to make sure it works for your needs before paying for it.

Once you’re a Premium user you can use the Contact Us link within the plugin options pages, or the Contact link on https://support.5starplugins.com/ to get Premium support.
