• Hi there,

I tried to update jetpack, as recommended, but after doing so I could not log in on my blog again. I just got a page, saying warning and something like this:

Warning: require_once(/home/kellberg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack_backup/class.jetpack-heartbeat.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/kellberg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack_backup/jetpack.php on line 50

My host then deactivated jetpack and which gave me access to my dashboard again. Now, when I try to activate jetpack via plugins, I get the same message as above.

So no stats for me right now, but I don′t wanna be stats-less any longer, so if anybody can tell me what to do. it would be mush appreciated.

    Best
    Henrik

Got it. Sounds like somebody renamed your Jetpack folder in the plugins directory to ‘jetpack_backup.’ It’s breaking the internal plugin links!

Could you rename it properly? Hopefully that will sort it out, but if that doesn’t work, I’d recommend deleting all jetpack-related plugin files from your /plugins/ folder and then uploading a fresh copy of Jetpack manually. Let us know what you find!
