JetPack PLugin – Publicize Feature – Google integration not working.

    Hi there,

    I’m currently having a couple issues with this plugin feature when it comes to the Google Integration.

    1 ) Whenever a new post is published on either website, the post is re-published on the Google+ page as “shared only with you.” I found this link, which is suppose to address this Google+ issue; however, the section “Changing who can see your Publicized posts on Google+.” can not be completed because steps 3-4 do not even appear–there is NO OPTION available to manage the share option.

    2 ) If a post contains shortcode, then the shortcode gets published in the post instead of the “copy” text.

    Really annoying considering the only viable solution right now is to manually go through Google+ posts to change the share setting, and remove the shortcodes that keep appearing in the posts.

    Open to suggestions or alternative plugins to Jetpack. This is the second time I’ve replaced a “social share plugin” because of issues with Google+.
