Jetpack not sending confirmation email to NEW subscriber

I realize no confirmation email was sent to new subscribers, and similarly no email sent to new commenters when they wanna follow replies to comments.
However the one already registered are receiving them as usual.My blog is Steven.th3sh33ps.com
Wonder if there is anything wrong that I did
