Jetpack Not Connecting to WordPress
-
I installed WooCommerce and Storefront and Jetpack. When I went to connect Jetpack to my Worpress, I got the following error:
“Your jetpack has a glitch. Something went wrong that’s never supposed to happen. Guess you’re just lucky:
xml_rpc-32700
Try Connecting Again.
Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s SML-RPC-URL. Please check to make sure httl://themajesticdragon.com/smlrpc.pho is working properly. It should show ‘XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.’ I contacted JetPack support and they said they could not access my https://themajesticdragon.com/xmlrpc.php file. That file needs to return the message “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.“I contacted Jetpack support who said that my xml.php file was showing an error (The requested URL was rejected. If you think this is an error, please contact the webmaster.fYour support ID is: 6034145486101158560) and they said that “Based on the error it seems that something either you or your host is doing is blocking access to the file, as opposed to the file just not being there. Could you contact your host with this information to see if they can help investigate?”
I tried deactivating all by my WooCommerce and Jetpack plugins. No dice. Still got the same error.
I tried switching to a different theme. No Dice. Still got the same error.
Any help would be appreciated.
