Jetpack not connecting to Facebook

    Yesterday, I checked that my social media pages were still connected etc but under Facebook, rather than have my page name, it simply said ‘null’. I figured there was a problem so I disconnected Facebook and have been trying to reconnect since then but it won’t work. It says that Facebook and Jetpack and linked but when I click on ‘Connect’ on the Facebook link, I go through the motions of continuing with previous settings, it says they are linked. I return to the original page, it says ‘connecting’ for a couple of seconds then stops and is back to saying ‘connect’. Now Instagram business has gone too and I can’t get that back until Facebook connects.
    I haven’t changed any settings, I have no plugins installed, I’m on the free platform. Nothing is different except Facebook and Instagram won’t connect. I’ve tried on my phone and on my computer, tried to remove access from Facebook but it always remembers that it has connected in the past.

    Can anyone help with this, honestly I’m at my wits end and almost ready to give up on my Jetpack blog – I had such a nightmare of a time trying to connect Tumblr to Jetpack, I’ve never had an issue with Facebook and Instagram until now!

    Our logs indicate that your social media accounts, including Facebook, Tumblr, and Instagram, are currently connected and your most recent post “Gratitude Diary” was shared successfully.

    If the issue persists, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, and then reconnect.

    Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

    I meet the same issue – try to connect to facebook, input user name & password, it shows “connecting” for a while then change to “connect” status. No error message but it seems facebook is not connected correctly.

    I can successfully connect LinkedIn and Tumblr with Jetpack with the same process.

    Any one can help? Thanks.
