I can’t log-in to my back-end because JetPack has locked my site. I follow the instructions to request an unlock email, but that doesn’t work.

Getting {“error”:”Bad Request”,”message”:”Invalid input.”} on trying to open the lock from email.

    Restarting the computer didn’t help.

    Hi Anetta,

Restarting the computer probably won’t help since it’s based on your IP address. You can find your public IP here: https://www.whatismyip.com/

Can you try whitelisting via WordPress.com? Once you log in, you can enter IP addresses here:
My Sites → Settings → Security → Prevent brute force login attacks.

Remember your username might for WordPress.com be different from your regular wp-admin login, as it is a separate account.

Let us know if you need more help!

@supernovia .. well this is a well-meaning feature of Jetpack .. but is it possible to turn off???

It’s getting really irritating .. till a point the Jetpack is almost PAINFUL to use!!

Sure, you can toggle it off in settings. We have more details, including screenshots, here:
