    Hello,

I am getting notification emails that my site is offline. The site isn’t actually offline but checking the Jetpack logs I get these two messages:

Website address (home url) set to “xxxxxx.xxxx.xx”

     xxxxxx.xxxx.xx is unresponsive

I emailed my host and here is their response:

Upon examination of the ticket, I’d like to make it clear that the home/site URL of websites does not undergo automatic updates.

The website mentioned in the ticket, “xxxxxx.xxxx.xx,” is a regression site generated by the Visual Comparison tool on Managed WordPress hosting. The purpose of this tool is to monitor automated WordPress and plugin updates. It creates a regression site to compare any changes on the website before and after a plugin upgrade, checking for errors or broken code.

As both the live site and the regression site share the same license, you may see the logs of this site under Jetpack as well. This is expected behavior due to the shared license.

So it sounds like the copy of the site using the same Jetpack license is confusing Jetpack? Is there a way to make Jetpack ignore the regression site? I’m using Nexcess for hosting.
