• I activated Jetpack and downloaded a number of their applications and for a while it worked well. Then it disappeared and the plug-in registered as ‘Activate’. So I activated the link and I got this message…”Plug-in could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

Needless to say, I didn’t attempt again. I do like Jetpack, so can anyone suggest how I can correct this error. (I don’t do code!) Thanks, ‘Cane1.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

No…I haven’t tried any of those. I’ll give it a shot and get back.

I deactivated all of my plug-ins and activated the Jetpack plug-in, but still got the Fatal Error message. Pity!

Jetpack has been working on my site for six months, then this????

Esmi: Here is the complete message: “

Try re-uploading a fresh copy of Jetpack using FTP.
