I created a staging site last week.

    https://test.drmichellebengtson.com

This week, I updated jetpack to 3.9.6 on the production site.

    https://drmichellebengtson.com

Jetpack changed itself. It created a new wordpress.com site called Test DrB and linked the jetpack in production to it.

All the subscribers from the production account were moved to Test DrB.

I changed the link in production back to the correct wordpress.com site today. When I went to check version numbers, it was no longer connected. Now, wordpress.com shows all the posts linked to the test site.

I don’t know what to do. I did not know that Jetpack could link the production and test sites together. I never would have created a staging environment if I knew that.

I can delete the test/staging site. But, how do I get the production site to link to the right wordpress.com site again and how do I get the subscribers back. I don’t know who they were.

    Thank you
