jetpack is a great plugin but..

  • The only drawback to Jetpack is it is a resource hog. I had to remove this plugin from all of my sites until the high resource usage has settled a bit. I have one site of full dedicated server, and have been told by hosting as well Godaddys plugin p3 profiler not to use this. Now honestly If anyone could trust anything godaddy ever said or done, then i’d follow it. But when the hosting company im with said that it pulled way too much of my site and we compared stats, it is true. 80% of the wordpress site was used by jetpack with minimal of the additions it comes with turned on.
    I hope this one day gets better as jetpack is an awesome plugin, if you have some severe hosting or dedicated servers.
    Much props to the creators as once again, i’m going to install this plugin and try a work around on resources.
