Jetpack installtion fails

    I tried to Install Jetpack plugin but it fails with this error message “Destination folder already exists. /home3/bobalto/public_html/northwalespowertools.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/”. When I FTP to my site and look in the Plugin Folder there is a Jetpack folder there. However when I look at the list of plugins in my wordpress site it does not appear. Should I delete the Jetpack folder manual and try and reinstall it again. Any help would be appreciated.
