Jetpack Installation Error, Order Payment Always Fails, Shipping Inconsistent
-
Hello,
I am editing the back end of a client’s webpage, mysteriousmeats.com, and we have run into some problems. So far, every time a customer has tried to order an item off of our website the order has failed. Also, the shipping calculator is inconsistent.
The webpage is built with WooCommerce plugins that interact with the “Jetpack by WordPress.com” plugin in order to create an ecommerce website selling and shipping items to customers. Here is a screenshot of all the plugins currently in use with the website: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w07dnvm5znppnbr/MMeats%20Plugins.JPG?dl=0
Every failed order (which is every order so far) gets this error message:
Array
(
[0] => stdClass Object
(
[category] => AUTHENTICATION_ERROR
[code] => UNAUTHORIZED
[detail] => This request could not be authorized.
))
Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.Specifically, this is what a failed order looks like: https://www.dropbox.com/s/juhx0zluq8exggu/Failed%20Order%20ED.jpg?dl=0 - Note the error message under "Order Notes" on the right. ALL the failed orders have this error message.
And while testing shipping I have gotten several different results. Each order was exactly the same, but 1st test it said shipping was $7.60, and that was the only option. 2nd test it gave me three options, First class at $2.60, Priority at $8.35, and Priority Express at $27.50. 3rd test it only gave me 2 options Priority at $8.35, and Priority Express at $27.50. Here are screenshots for each of those tests: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dnsyj2tstyc5b0t/First%20Desktop%20Calculate%20Shipping.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/vz59b1zkyeu5p0l/Second%20Desktop%20Calculate%20Shipping.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/38r8poxe1bcbysd/Third%20Desktop%20Calculate%20Shipping.JPG?dl=0
When I first started looking into this problem Jetpack was giving me an error (Screenshots: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p8fhhbhiyl5xarg/Jetpack%201.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/o988wflr27m4q7n/Jetpack%202.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/zu0t8589zismdrj/Jetpack%20Install%20Error.JPG?dl=0 ). I uninstalled and reinstalled Jetpack several times and it eventually seemed to install, but it's still giving me error messages, Jetpack Debugging Center says it detects an error, and orders are still failing.
I have been going through all the troubleshooting instructions in the Jetpack Debuging center, but the problems still persist. However, the Jetpack Debugging Center now says "Your Jetpack setup looks a-okay!" - and yet the problems with failing orders and inconsistent shipping still persist.
1. I did not find anything that looked like my problem on the provided "known conflicts" list.
2. I tried turning off all plugins except for "Jetpack by WordPress.com", "WooCommerce", "WooCommerce Square", and "WooCommerce USPS Shipping" since those were the minimum needed to actually submit an order, but I got the same error.
3. The current theme is Deli: A Storefront Child Theme. I got the same error when switching to 2019 AND 2017 default themes. (Screenshots: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yfivxvpqn4e9jwx/2019%20Theme%20Test.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/sju09gzgsg8c7l9/2017%20Theme%20Test.JPG?dl=0 )
4. The XMLRPC File seems to check out (Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0kpbx9xm9u6jq76/XMLRPC%20File%20Screenshot.JPG?dl=0 )
5. I have disconnected and reconnected to WordPress.com a few times.I can also send my full debug information, if needed, as I did when I submitted a request to Jetpack.com support team.
Can someone please help me fix this problem?
Thank you in advance for your help!
