    I am Lewis Lafontaine.

I just recently enhanced my JetPack Subscription and wish to determine within my “Trial Period” if JetPack can improve my Site.

I have used the JetPack Image Analysis Tool which designed to search your site for images that are too large and have an impact on your visitors’ experience, page loading times, and search rankings. Once finished, it will give you a report of all improperly sized images with suggestions on how to fix them.

    The Analysis shows:

2 ea. Homepage Issues and total of 71post issues after scanning your 100 most recent pages.

I have a total of circa 5974 pages which at a rate of 71 issues per 100 pages would equate circa 4242 issues.

What is the best way to repair these reasonably quickly?  It would likely take very long to do manually one by one.

Can JetPack, Imagify or other tool repair these?

What is the best course of action to repair these?

    Thank you.

    Hi @devin104,

    Thanks for reaching out.

First, as a paying user, you can contact Jetpack directly for expedited support here: https://jetpack.com/contact-support/.

That said, while Jetpack Boost provides guidance, it doesn’t automatically resize the source images. Jetpack’s Image CDN, which optimizes images for faster loading, can help improve performance without necessarily resizing manually.

This and a couple of other recommendations are discussed here: https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-boost/analyze-and-optimize-images-with-jetpack-boost/#options-for-optimizing-images-with-jetpack-boost.

To address the image size issue at the source level, however, you might consider using a third-party tool of your choosing to resize and re-upload/replace them.

    Best regards,

It may be of modest interest for you to know that I was sent here at the explicit direction of the JetPack Virtual Assistant.

I told the assistant that I did not expect any substantive help in reply to my post.

And indeed I was simply dismissed back to JetPack which is not an uncommon occurrence.

You may close this thread but please do not mark it as “resolved.”

    Hello @devin104,

It may be of modest interest for you to know that I was sent here at the explicit direction of the JetPack Virtual Assistant.

It’s possible you reached out to us from a free account when you tried to contact us directly at https://jetpack.com/contact-support/. Could you please make sure you used your account with the username l*****a******e? I have redacted the account username for privacy and security reasons but that’s the account associated with your paid Jetpack account.

That said, please know that we usually close inactive threads with no activity, but we try to address questions raised first.

Hope this was helpful! Please let us know if you need further assistance or if you have additional questions.

     DAMN that JetPack Virtual Assistant!!!

Right now I am desperately seeking somebody; anybody to fix my site which JVA so excellently damage.

    1. had me install, uninstall, reinstall multiple CSS Codes, Snippets, Widgets.

    2. Had me add/remove Plugins

    3. Had me alter image sizes on posts and my Theme header.

This is just for starters.  Actually, a Happiness Engineer should go to my dashboard and fix all of the damage.

I am so sorry I ever upgraded my JetPack.

I will get back to you will more information but I am way to furious right now to do so.

Thank you for getting back to me.
