    Good morning

    I’m receiving the error –

Jetpack has detected an error syncing your site.Jetpack
The information synced by Jetpack ensures that Jetpack Search, Related Posts and other features are aligned with your site’s current content.

Error Jetpack has detected that data is not properly in sync which may be impacting some of your site’s functionality. Click here to start a fix to align Jetpack with your site data. If you still notice this error after running the fix process, please contact support for additional assistance.

This started after I changed hosting providers.

Does anyone know how I can diagnose the error?

  • Hi @agreeff1350

I’ve seen you’ve mentioned that Jetpack has some issues syncing with your site, as a first step, I’d highly suggest reinstalling it and reconnecting it:

    1. Go to the Jetpack menu in your WP-Admin dashboard
    2. Scroll down to find the Connections area.
    3. Click Manage site connection.
    4. Click Disconnect and follow the prompts to complete the disconnection process.
    5. Proceed to delete Jetpack amongst your installed plugins.
    5. Reinstall Jetpack and Activate it, then Click the Set Up Jetpack button to connect your site to WordPress.com again.

    Hi

I tried that already, it only worked for a few hours.

    Hi @agreeff1350

I suspect that the issue here is related to the load on your server. It looks like we’re having intermittent connection issues which is then causing sync issues.

When I test your site’s xmlrpc.php file, the connection is very slow (it takes over 3 minutes to make 50 requests). This is enough to cause Jetpack to timeout. Additionally, testing on a performance measurement tool (GTmetrix.com) indicates a slow server response time.

To address this, I would recommend removing any unnecessary plugins on your site. If there aren’t any plugins that you can remove to lighten the load, I would recommend reaching out to your hosting provider to see if there is something causing excessive load on your server. They may be able to help address this and/or upgrade the resources on your plan.
