Jetpack Full Screen Carousel – delete Information in Fullscreen

    Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of Jetpack,

    first of all: Thank you very much for this great plugin, this helps quite a lot.

    I am a baby/children photographer and using your Jetpack Full Screen Carousel. I enabled additionally WP Content Copy Protection to protect my photos, so that a download isn’t possible.

    But here lies the problem – when using Jetpack Full Screen Carousel, there is the option to click the great “i” and get the option to view the photo in original screen. This is then openend in a new window and alas downloadable.

    –>Is there an option to completely disable the “i” and disable the option for opening the photo in original size?

    That would solve my problem.

    I think what you’re looking for is to disable the exif data as shown here:

    Can you take a look at that and see if it is what you’re trying to do?

    Hi bruceallen,

    thanks for your answer. Unfortunately this isn’t what I meant. This exif topic entails the information about the camera and the picture itself (which settings etc.) What cannot be controlled is the option that I open the original image when I pre-load this sort of preview.

    Until to the point when i open the original image and it’s size, everything is download protected. In this full size image it can easily be downloaded. This is what I want to prohibit.

    Hi @sasyphotography –

    Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to disable this ability within the Jetpack gallery. You would need to find a different solution if you want a slideshow with the images more protected.

    Jetpack Galleries have many nice feautures which I doubt other galleries will bring to the table. Nevertheless, does anyone have good alternatives which feature a modern, high resolution design, which can be fully content protected?
