I sent a test application using the form, and it seems that it was correctly submitted. If it appears in your Feedback menu, you can delete it ??

Could you try to install the following plugin, to make sure that your WordPress installation can send out emails?

    Jeremy,

Thanks so much for getting back to me!

I did get your submission in the feedback ??

I installed the plugin check e-mail and sent a test email to myself, which I did not receive.

The message the plug-in provided was
“The test email has been sent by WordPress. Please note this does NOT mean it has been delivered. See wp_mail in the Codex for more information. The headers sent were:

    MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n
    From: info@mfgtalkradio.com\r\n
    Content-Type: text/plain; charset=”UTF-8″\r\n

I checked with my host godaddy, and they said nothing was wrong on that end.
I also use the jetpack plug-in for forms on a lot of other sites and it always works fine. So I have no idea whats wrong here? Do you know why they won’t forward to my email?
Or how I can get that to happen?

I am using a theme called traffica. It seems they want me to use a plugin called FormGet.
I installed it, and they were able to forward me the email.

I really don’t want to use their form, and site though.
Did they make some kind of monopoly, with the theme? Is that allowed?
Can we work around this, if that is the issue?

    I’d really rather use your plug-in ??

wait, nevermind about that installation. I did that on a test site, and both jetpack and that plugin work

It seems your WordPress installation is unable to send out emails. It could be because the email function is not properly configured on your server, or because GoDaddy filters outgoing emails or blocks them completely.

Could you ask them to check your server mail logs to see if they can track why the emails were not sent? It might be because both the test email and the Jetpack Feedback emails are marked as spam, for example.

I can send and recieve emails outside of wordpress. I called them, and they said that there was no filter or block :/

I can send and receive emails outside of wordpress.

The Check Email plugin results seem to indicate that WordPress can send emails, but you don’t receive them. That means that the emails are filtered at some point in the process, either when they’re sent or before you receive them. I’m afraid I cannot give you more details about this; I can only suggest that you get in touch with your email provider and ask them to check your email logs to find our if the emails were filtered out before to reach your mailbox.
