Previously I had PHP 7.3 and WordPress says that’s unsecure so I upgraded to PHP 7.4 and then Jetpack caused a fatal error on the site. So I downgraded to 7.3 and uninstalled Jetpack and then went back up to 7.4
No other problems. Then I installed Jetpack and it installs and activates fine, but when I click Set Up Jetpack, I get the error:
The registration secrets sent by your site do not match the ones the Jetpack server has on record.
I don’t understand this, nor do I understand how I can fix it.
    What can I do?

Edit: Yes, I posted something similar before, but that was a different error message on a different website. It seems to be a similar issue, but my host says everything at their end is working properly so I should contact the plugin vendor, so here I am.

    Hi @saladgoat

Jetpack should work with PHP v7.4. Could you try uninstalling and then reinstalling Jetpack when on PHP v7.4?

Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?

If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

    Thanks!
