Jetpack doesn’t display webp image in Chrome

That’s odd, we should definitely display webp under Chrome when available.

Can you give us a link to a page where you know webp images should be running?

We are serving wepb images for your site, but we don’t change the file extension since wepb images aren’t universally supported yet.

For example:
https://i1.wp.com/aothun.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/t%E1%BA%A1p-d%E1%BB%81-qu%C3%A1n-cafe.jpg?resize=1024%2C636&ssl=1

This image, despite the .jpg extension, is being offered a webp image if accessed via Chrome. You can verify this by loading your Chrome’s development console, choosing Network, refreshing the image, then checking out the image’s information as seen in this screenshot: https://cloudup.com/crrFdxK8x-D
