  • I had something similar happen to me, if you still have FTP access it could be an easy fix. One of my sites was stuck in maintenance mode from a Jetpack auto-update. I went into the root WordPress folder and removed the “.maintenance” file to fix it. Or if that doesn’t work, use FTP to go into the “/wp-content/plugins” folder and rename the Jetpack folder to something like “_jetpack” to disable it temporarily.

    Hi @hsramc

The solution shared by @leponder is the best way to fix this. If you have FTP/SSH access to your server, you can rename or remove the /wp-content/plugins/jetpack folder. You should then be able to access your WP Admin and can reinstall the Jetpack plugin.

Alternatively, you can contact your hosting provider’s technical support and ask them to remove the folder for you. You would then need to reinstall Jetpack again.

Let us know once that is done and we can confirm that Jetpack is working on your site.

    Hey @hsramc,

Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
